Ben Shelton just got his first win over Carlos Alcaraz — and there’s a gear detail worth watching.

Shelton came through a five-set US Open quarterfinal, 6-7(5), 6-1, 6-3, 1-6, 7-6(10-7), to reach another semifinal in New York.

At the same time, his stringbed has been looking different.

Recent images show an orange Yonex setup. Yonex currently lists Shelton with the EZONE 98, POLYTOUR REV 125 and POLYTOUR PRO 125 — but that does not confirm the exact mains, crosses or tension he is using at the US Open.

And his 2026 tournament stringing records already show that he has used different Yonex poly combinations during the season.

So the safe read is:

EZONE 98 mold. Orange stringbed. Exact current setup still to be confirmed.

The timing just makes the gear story even more interesting.

What do you think about his exact specs? 🤓

The racket is familiar. The string story isn’t.

Ben Shelton just earned his first win over Carlos Alcaraz and reached the US Open semifinals.

At the same time, recent images show a noticeably different orange Yonex stringbed.

Officially, Yonex lists EZONE 98 + POLYTOUR REV 125 + POLYTOUR PRO 125 in Shelton’s kit. The exact US Open hybrid and tension, however, are still unconfirmed.

What do you think he’s using?
Specs and actual mold? 👀

Did Wilson just make the Blade V10 look better than the regular Blade V10?

Wilson has released a new Blue Flower Porcelain limited series, taking the Blade V10 in a completely different direction from the standard Championship Green cosmetic.

Inspired by traditional Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, the collection combines floral detailing with moon white, deep blue and subtle copper-red accents.

Two versions have surfaced:

Moon White — Blade 98 V10
98 in² · 305g · 16×19

Indigo — Blade 100 Pro V10
100 in² · 295g · 16×20

Currently confirmed through Wilson in Hong Kong and Macau. I haven’t found a confirmed European release yet.

Blue Porcelain or Championship Green?
