I've started spearfishing at 7 years old in the Azores and I got my first underwater camera at 14 - way before GoPros were invented. While graduating in Cinema and Journalism, I've worked as the main editor for the biggest portuguese 'telco' brand MOCHE and in the surfing industry directing short documentaries and advertising films. Shortly after, I've funded Breathless Productions and released th

e documentary INHALE which was a huge crowdfunding success all over the world. This documentary was filmed while freediving at depths bellow 100 in the wildest places of the Azores. At the moment, my work consists of traveling around the world to dive in the craziest places but always returning to the Azores as a spearfishing guide to share what i've learnt during more than 10 years in the archipelago. I also work with Perrin James (Last Breath Films) as the main editor behind some of the best spearfishing videos in the world.
