Ok... here's another attempt to convince you guys that still haven't checked out our channel, to do so!

Here's a sneak peak of the second instalment of our Puna expedition.

Part one has done well. Currently it has 528 views.

We have been posting videos about our travels for 7 years now. Our highest viewed video in that time has 30,000 views and is a 'How To Van Life With a Cat' video.

Our highest viewed travel video has 4500 views.

Our Puna videos are far better than either of these. So you really should take the time to check them out if you follow our adventures on here.

Our videos are super easy to find. Just search for The Kombi Chronicles 👍

Bit of a rant... As I am sick and tired of people stealing our content and posting it on their own profiles 🤬

For the past seven years, we have documented our travels around the world in Ruby. We take a lot of time recording moments, editing photos and video before sharing them on our social pages.

And over all those years, we've gained a small and amazing commity of followers and made a very small amount of money. Not even enough to cover the camera, lenses, drones and music licences we pay for.

Which is why it sucks when you see accounts online e with nearly 100k followers downloading our videos and relating them on their page. Especially when these days, there are share buttons.

They are doing it specifically to post high performing content on their page to profit from.

It's hard enough these days with all the daily AI posts flooding every social media platform, drowning out our actual content. But this really takes the p**s!

Next month, we need to renew our content licence for the music we use on our YouTube channel. A years licence will cost us almost £200. Our larger channel makes less than £10 a month and our new channel is not even monetised.

We have no desire to famous, but it would be nice to at least make enough money from the content we post to break even.

Please support small content creators like us. If things continue this way, small creators like us will cease to exist one day and all that will be left will be AI videos of VWs driving through deserts I steady of the real thing.

Interact with their accounts by liking and leaving them comments. Share interesting posts and give them shout outs. It makes a bigger difference than people realise.

We are fortunate that we get to spend most of our days driving across this beautiful spinning rock that we find ourselves on.

Exploring corners of the world that some people don't even know exist and probably couldn't point out on a map.

What started off as a planned break, has b come our lives. The Kombi Chronicles started off as a written blog that I would share with my students. But it's now become a large Facebook community. An amautur film production and a small business.

These is a lyric by Chuck Regan that inspirea me everyday and it's...

'All we are, is what we leave behind.'

Neither of us think of ourselves as influencers. However, we like to think that our travels in Ruby have caught people's attention. Maybe we've even inspired people to get out and explore a bit themselves.

I wonder if we call ourselves 'inspirers' instead 🤔

Have we been anywhere that you had no idea existed before we shared it with you?

Have you watched Part one of our Puna expedition yet?

I still can't believe we drove Ruby across one of the highest deserts in the world and conquered a supposedly 4x4 only route.

Unsurprisingly, it's outperforming anything we have ever published for early views and watch time 🤘

I guess I better make a start on Part 2!
