Grace Does Not Cancel Our Reward
Revelation 22:12 — “My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”
There is a dangerous misunderstanding of grace among some believers and even some preachers today. We rightly proclaim that we are saved by grace and not by our own works. Ephesians 2:8–9 makes that unmistakably clear. But we must never use grace as an excuse for spiritual laziness, disobedience, or neglect of the work God has entrusted to us.
Yes, salvation is by grace.
But reward is according to our faithfulness.
Grace saves us, but grace also teaches us to live differently.
Paul said, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10
Notice the order: We are not saved because we work; we work because we have been saved.

Sometimes, God gives people clear instructions and blesses them abundantly. But there are moments when, because of the blessings they receive, they become full of themselves and forget the One who gave them those blessings.

God’s desire is not simply to bless us with abundance, but to use those blessings to make us more humble, grateful, and dependent on Him. When blessings make us proud, God may allow us to experience seasons of need—not because He wants to destroy us, but because He wants to bring our hearts back to the right place.

The will of the Lord is to bless us abundantly, but our abundance should never make us forget our Provider. The greater the blessing, the greater the humility should be.

Never let what God has given you become the very thing that makes you forget God. What we have is by His grace, and everything can change in a moment. Therefore, remain humble, remain grateful, and remain dependent on Him.

God blesses us not so we can become full of ourselves, but so we can become a blessing to others and give Him all the glory.

What You Sow, You Will Reap

Every choice you make today is a seed planted for tomorrow. Your habits, attitude, words, and actions shape the future you will experience. When you cultivate discipline, hard work, kindness, and perseverance, you will reap success, peace, and meaningful relationships. Conversely, if you sow laziness, negativity, or dishonesty, those choices will also lead to negative consequences.

What you plant now will define your future. The decisions you make today may seem small, but over time, they grow into the life you create. Choose to sow seeds of integrity, learning, faith, and compassion. Remain consistent, even when results are not immediate, because every good seed needs time to grow.

Though works do not affect our salvation, we need to understand that good works should be the fruit of genuine salvation. We are not saved by our works, but because we are truly saved, our lives should naturally bear the evidence of faith through obedience and good works.

Galingan na natin ng galingan mag kunyari at magsinungaling mang husga ng kapwa, pero ang realidad hindi tao ang huhusga sa ating gawa kundi ang ating Panginoon.

Many people become skilled at hiding their true lives behind a smile, a title, or a reputation. We may deceive family, friends, co-workers, or even the church. But there is one Person who sees beyond appearances—God.
The Bible reminds us:
Hebrews 4:13
**"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give.
God looks past outward appearances and human deception to judge the true intentions of the heart.
Jeremiah 17:10
"I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve."

I have experienced a life filled with darkness, and there was a time when I never thought true happiness was possible. But through God's revelation, my eyes were opened to a powerful truth: no matter what situation we face, we can still choose to be happy.

Happiness is not merely the result of favorable circumstances; it is a decision rooted in faith. The joy of the Lord is available to us even in the midst of trials. Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, and the Holy Spirit—who dwells within us as God's seal and empowerment—enables us to live above our circumstances.

Because of His presence in our lives, we are not controlled by our struggles, disappointments, or pain. We can choose joy, choose gratitude, and choose to trust God every day. Happiness is a choice, and that choice becomes possible when we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
