The Rotating Gallery rolls into September with three new artists and a new selection of work on our walls.

A big thank you to our August artists for starting this with us, and to everyone who stopped by and spent some time admiring their work. 🫶

We’re really happy to see the space change each month, with more artists joining us over the next months.

The work began as an attempt to achieve a particular contrast, followed by numerous experiments and interventions along the way. The result is a combination of ideas and forms, built up layer by layer.

We’re so excited to introduce something new to our space: a rotating gallery dedicated to showcasing local artists and creatives. Every month, we’ll feature three new artists and their work, giving our guests the chance to discover new talent and connect with artists.

Friends Of The Unconscious: Sono | Alexandra Ene | Grafică Digitală

Sono is part of the “Friends of the Unconscious” series, a collection of characters inspired by Japanese animation and culture, combined with the imagery of the subconscious. Sound is her only form of perception. Through my illustrations, I create symbolic figures that transform emotions and thoughts into visual identities.

Created using screen-printing, this piece is part of the “I Wanna Do Better” series and captures the gradual deterioration of a relationship. The contrast between vibrant shades of pink and blue conveys a harsh reality while carrying a message of hope: no pain is permanent, and healing is possible.

The artwork is part of the “Chaosmos” series (2014), which consists of 28 analogue collages. The series invites viewers to reflect on how creative disorder can permeate the most ordinary spaces of reality, creating situations that feel both familiar and strange. Through the technique of analogue collage, reality is questioned and reconfigured by bringing together fragments taken from different contexts and placing them within a new, imagined order.

New in: a limited number of copies of Turntable Science – Extended Techniques Vol.1 (originally released in 2009), available on vinyl, cassette, and CD, plus DJ Undoo - The Crown Of Life, available on cassette.

Turntable Science, the first DJ crew in Romania, formed by DJ Paul, DJ Dox, DJ Undoo, and DJ Faibo X, reminded everyone with this project that the DJ is the foundational element of Hip-Hop culture, showing how things are done strictly out of passion and pure technique.

Respect and big thanks to DJ Undoo and HipHopKulture for this collaboration. 🤜🤛🫶
