I decided to return back a bit to blogging, so I opened a substack where I will be posting reviews, and perhaps other stuff bookish related (we shall see).

Regarding .aficionado I've decided to create a month newsletter which will contain a little bit of each thing, related to bookstagram and the indie world.

Not only did I pre-ordered Neverthorn by but I also signed up for the eARC opportunity x_x. Yes, yes bad idea because of how long my backlog is, BUT the ARCs always take priority! That means soon I'm reporting w/ my review how this book was.

Another friday. Another author for ! Today I have the pleasure to talk a little bit about .

I have read her first book Of darkness and ruination back in 2024, and this year we've got the 2nd book Of Light and Freedom! I am soon starting it and I am excited, because the first book was quite the adventure, and turmoil lol but was an interesting read and I'm curios to see what happens next! Also her character art, is always SO beautiful, and very spicy so check them at your own risk :D.

✨Spiceless Wednesday - Where I feature one book that has NO spice✨

Today's Spiceless book is Ties of Deception by .author and is part of a multi-author series of no spice fantasy romances. Each standalone story features a magical bond that forces the couple to discover how much they’re willing to sacrifice for the sake of love. I haven't read the other books in the series, but I do want to, because this one was such a sweet romance - and the quotes I got from the story, mind-blowing.

So if you love a palate clense from spicy books, then pick this one up!! Is free of spice and has the sweetest romance + has the persephone and hades vibes :D.

| Thistle by Cathy Greco

I found the characters to be quite enchanting, but I had a bit of hard time understanding the dynamics in their world, because at one point the characters were mentioned to be in danger for owls flying above. The world-building is fae world related, and is giving fairytale vibes. Overall was beautifully made, especially when the human world was dangerous and poisonous for the fae's.

Overall was a really nice and enjoyable read.

Welcome back to another ! This time with . I've read 3 books of her (so far). The first books were with pirates, and a very badass and fantastic FMC and every so often I still think on this series, especially since I still have to read the 3rd book. But alas, I'll eventually get to read more lol. In the meantime head over and check these out :D.
