Somewhere in the distant future, our sun, about to go supernova, becomes a red giant star, engulfing the whole solar system as it grows. A humanoid robot, a Martian, and an Earthling escape doomsday, managing to survive... for now. Only warp speed can save them, but the ship is malfunctioning. The end seems near, and as sabotage, bigotry, and a tribal hatred corrodes deep into their minds; time is ticking away...
Will they survive, or will they end with the rest of life that has already perished?
