I’m posting a picture with my parents during an engine tour, showing them the machinery. My father knew exactly what it was all about, having 30 years of experience at sea as a fitter by trade. For my mother, it was something completely new. This is one of the advantages of working on passenger ships – you can bring your loved ones to see the environment where you live and work.
