Note to all law enforcement: These types of scams use rental cars that are arranged through other gypsy scammers working on the inside of these car rental companies at kiosks. So start your investigations there.

For everyone else, please note that state patrol has informed the public that when it comes to these particular scams, 911 should always be called.

We suggest you treat this like a robbery because that is exactly what the scammers intention is. Keep your self defense tools on you at all times and remain vigilant.

Make no mistake about it, this is a gypsy scammer. He absolutely stole those flowers and is simply presenting you with a bu****it script in order to sucker you in to giving him money. They coordinated all of this and have split up in several locations. Odds are this one came from the Portland/Vancouver area, where a lot of their headquarters currently is at the moment.

Her name is Roxana Miclescu. She and the husband are very well known in the court system. She has been spotted all over the state running this same scam. She actually stays in Kent, where she abuses housing assistance and commits welfare fraud on top of a her routine theft and pretending to be a poor helpless beggar.

Yeah, well forget those useless employees, we on the other hand already know that we can't always rely on others to handle these scammers hence why this page is necessary. If you're in the area, be sure to run em' off. And just remember, these street scammers featured here on the page aren't just people with money pretending to be poor families in need- they are also career criminals and thieves involved in all kinds of organized crime (retail theft rings, fraud, robberies, various thefts).

THAT is who were dealing with here and why we should take it seriously.

These particular group of scammers are better known around here as the 'Butt Scratcha Bandits'. They get around.

𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭.

It is my understanding that the North Platte Police Department is aware of the situation. I do not have an easy line of communication with this department but one witness tells me they talked with the people and helped them get the RV in a safer position in the parking lot.

As everyone knows, giving is personal. I seldom hand over cash (partly because I do not have much), but even if I do, I prefer to offer solutions - like paying for something directly (remember the headstone we got for the woman in Overton who lost her twins? Every donation went directly to monument home or other specific needs).

I still do not know the full story here with this family. I am not stupid or naive to the likelihood of some of the possibilities. The post is shared to show you your community, not to tell you what to do with your money. The goal was met by drawing attention to this family - they likely need help regardless. If they are stranded they need help. If they are using their children as panhandlers, they need help.

A family of five from Michigan is traveling to Idaho - their mission?

They adopted two disabled children and they say they are traveling to pick them up.

Their RV broke down in the parking lot of Applebees in North Platte.

They say they are stuck in the parking lot until someone shows up to help them. I do not know if this is legitimate or not. It seems like officials should look into it.t

They claim to be from France then are also telling people they're from Sacramento yet we know for a fact these are Romanian gypsy scammers. Are you paying attention yet? And yes, that baby is once again "sleeping". How conveniently timed.
