🕰️“Take time” este in momentul de fata unul dintre cele mai noi jocuri traduse in limba romana, publicat de Asmodee Romania. Jocul este publicat prin studioul Libellud, cei care anul trecut ne-au adus Harmonies. La o prima vedere, aspectul jocului atrage destul de mult, s-a acordat multa atentie pentru aspect la producerea jocului. Acestea fiind spuse, am pornit cu asteptari mari in privinta acestui joc.

⏳Nu pot spune ca sunt mare fan al jocurilor cooperative in care comunicarea este limitata, am cam evitat jocurile de genul, dar au fost si cateva care m-au prins, cm ar fi, de exemplu, The Gang. Take time te invita sa iei parte la o calatorie prin perceptia timpului, jucatorii sunt invitati sa se opreasca putin, as observe, sa colaboreze si sa savureze momentul, in contrast cu ritmul alert al lumii reale. Acesta se joaca in 2-4 jucatori cu o varsta recomandata de 10+ ani. Jucatorii lucreaza impreuna pentru a rezolva un sir de provocari plasand carti cu fata in jos in jurul unui ceas, respectand anumite reguli specifice fiecarei misiuni, astfel incat cartile sa fie asezate in ordine crescatoare.

🕢In cutia jocului vom gasi 10 plicuri numite capitole, fiecare avand in interior un numar de 4 provocari. Acestea au o dificultate crescanda, primele misiuni din primul plic avand conditii mai blande, dar pe masura ce le vei rezolva si vei avansa la urmatoarele plicuri, conditiile vor deveni mai multe si mai stricte, crescand dificultatea jocului.

Este bine cunoscut faptul că niciunui copil nu îi place să facă curățenie. Da, mai sunt și excepții uneori, se poate întâmpla să îl prinzi într-o pasă bună și să te surprindă cu hărnicia lui, însă de cele mai multe ori, greu convingi un copil să își strângă lucrurile.

Ei bine, în jocul Roomy Memo, scopul jucătorilor este să reușească să facă curățenie în cameră înainte ca părinții să ajungă acasă. Dacă nu este curat lună când aceștia intră pe ușă, jucătorii pierd jocul, iar copiilor nu le place deloc să piardă, nu-I așa?

Roomy Memo este un joc cooperativ de memorie adecvat copiilor cu vârsta peste 4 ani. Durează aproximativ 10 minute și pune la treabă între 1 si 4 copii. Jocul se întinde rapid pe masă, toate componentele fiind la comun.

Aveți la dispoziție 4 zone ale camerei și 12 obiecte care trebuie plasate la locul lor. Obiectele sunt puse în centrul mesei, cu fața în jos, ideal formând un grid de 3x4. Jocul conține o roată pentru a vedea ce obiect este căutat și holul casei pe care se află deja părinții, gata să vă prindă în dezordine.

From the deep forests of Transylvania to the dark mountains in Moldavia and bordered by the turbulent waters of the Danube, it is a region of Romania in the present, but there was a time when the country was divided into smaller countries that kept the ottoman invaders at bay, but often they were warring each other.

There are many legends about these lands, about Strigoi: when the souls of the dead cannot find their peace and return among the living raising from their graves and sucking the blood of the living, Moroi: ghosts that bring curses and feed on the energy of the living, Pricolici: like werevolves, they are people that can turn into wolves, Iele: spirits of the nature taking the shape of beautiful girls that invite you to dance with them and if you accept you will surely go crazy, remain mute or even die. But if you ask someone what is the most known monster from Romania, you will surely receive as an answer the vampire.

We didn’t have the word vampire in our old traditions, but there were other words that described this monster, like moroi, strigoi or pricolici. Bram Stoker has been inspired by the legends of the Strigoi from Transylvania and Moldova when he created the Vampire Dracula. And of course, he mixed these legends with the image of a famous and very ruthless ruler from Walachia – Vlad Țepeș.

Vampire Lords throws you in a war for power in the middle of the Carpathian mountains, but this is no ordinary war, because armies using humans and undead fight each other as they are commanded by powerful and supernatural leaders inspired by historical figures and fantasy stories. The game combines area control mechanics with deck building. You will have to command your armies and lead them to conquer cities and villages by playing cards from your hand.

🤖The first thing that fascinated me about Scythe was the world in which it takes place. The artwork of the game makes from it one of the most visually distinctive settings in all the board games I have played. Scythe, together with Expeditions share the same world, an 1920 alternate version of Eastern Europe where technology advanced so much because of the mysterious “Factory”. In this world giant diesel powered mechs appeared, leading to a technological revolution, but also a new arms race between the nations.

🌾This world is represented by the artwork of Jakub Rozalski, and it’s the first thing that attracted me to Scythe. Seeing the illustrations with the villagers gathering wood, or working the field together with the giant mechs was something that really made me say WOW.

❄️The curiosity to discover more about this alternate universe made me buy the game, especially for the art and the illustrations. But after I played the game a few times I can say that I came for the art, but stayed for the gameplay. Scythe has become one of my favorite games of all times.

☄️Expeditions takes place in the same world, but after the events of Scythe. The location is set now in Siberia, where a meteorite crashes awakening ancient corruption and spreading mysterious powers across the wilderness. In search for adventure, artifacts and glory, heroes from different nations started their own expeditions to find the mysteries of the meteorite. Players will enter the game as those hungry for glory heroes, and together with their mechs they have to explore and uncover what secrets lay hidden under the map tiles.

🎲Tiletum is a medium-weight strategy board game that combines dice management with satisfying combos, every board gamers’ dream.

🪙We've played Tiletum for the first time when it first appeared, in 2022, and we’ve played it a few times over the next two years, the last time with the expansion Prospect for Silver. I think I will always play it with the expansion from now on, as I’ve already mixed the components and it’s hard to remove them from the base game, haha. Kidding, it adds a new resource and a new location and a new action that’s nice to have at your disposal, as it offers new strategies to explore. And if you don’t want to integrate it into your strategy, that’s just fine, you can play the game and win it even if you ignore the silver and mine parts. So you can go with it, you can go without it, it’s fine either way. We’ve found it interesting to explore.

⚖️We’re fans of middle weight strategy board games and Tiletum fits just right. It’s a game with strong combo potential, providing a very satisfying feeling when you get the actions and bonuses to synchronize. Building your engine one action at a time is a very nice puzzle. Replayability is also high, as there are many ways that can lead your to victory.

🚘When I first head about this game and later when I saw the illustration on the box, I thought “Hey, another racing game, let’s check it out”. I was surprised to discover a dice placement with deck building type of game. But even so, the adrenaline is still there, just like in an actual race.

🏎️In Dirt & Dust you and your friends are rally drivers race through narrow streets and obstacles, pushing both your cars and your drivers to their limits.

🏆Dirt & Dust is a rally themed strategy board game. You start the game with a set of 10 cards (5 starter, the same for everyone and 5 specific to the chosen driver) and slowly, but surely upgrade this deck, acquire new, better cards and tune up your car and your team to score the most speed points at the end of the game.

🥇Learning the game is not as complicated as it looks. You can be intimidated by the multitude of components, symbols and terms, but it all connects and makes sense once you start playing the game. Setting it up takes a while at first once you get the components organized, but later on it gets easier.

🛞Mainly, each player has a personal board where all the car’s details are kept, like it’s position, damage or resources and a racing team board where players have their draw deck, active cards and discard pile, and where all actions are planned. These actions are executed on the stage board, which is common for all players.

☠️Primal Hex places players into a primitive world, where tribes fight for the resources of a land dominated by curses and season changes. Each player controls a Warchief and a secret advisor. Players compete for the control of the hexes on the map, adapting to the harsh conditions and changes that are coming in the land, with a variable scoring for each season.

💀Primal Hex is a game for 2-4 players, age 10+, that takes about 30-60 minutes per play. We played it only in 2 players and it took us an average of 40 minutes. The game is perfect for 2 players, full of player interaction, giving you the chance of a direct conflict and a lot of tension throughout the game. The game's mechanics are based on tactical decisions, hidden orders, dice rolling for resources.

🔥We love games that fit well for 2 players, and we also love games that have a lot of player interaction. Primal Hex has both of them, and on top of that some special ingredients that are giving this game a special flavor. Adding things you can control, things you cannot and the hidden intentions of your opponents can create a lot of tension and unexpected moments. Try to read your opponents to see if they are bluffing, or maybe try to attract them in a trap, it all depends on the strategy you choose to adopt.

🏕️The great outdoors is wonderful. Once you get out of the suffocating urban life and out there in the wild, walking on unpaved paths and surrounded only by the sounds of nature, it is divine. Even if you go on hiking trails, or you’re passionate about off-road biking or kayaking, nature has that special gift of recharging your spiritual energy, even if the action itself can be sometimes physically exhausting. It’s always nice to take your time to explore the newly found environment, but keep in mind to not leave the marked trails and to always find your way safely back to camp.

🏞️We’re more of a hiking kind of people, with boots in our feet and backpacks on our backs, with tents attached to it. We haven’t got the chance to do it often in the last few years, but once we get back to it, I'll surely attach to my backpack this Trailblazers travel edition, which fits perfectly.

🧭In Trailblazers travel edition you play the role of a traveler that goes on an adventure in the wild, hiking, biking and kayaking your way from and back to camp. We’ve also played the original version of the game. There is no difference in gameplay between the original and the travel edition, but to make it fit in a such a small travel bag, the game is “cut in half”, the animal components are represented by cardboard tokens instead of wooden tokens and there’s no adventurer expansion present. By “cut in half” I mean there’s only one deck of 135 cards, meaning that Trailblazers travel edition can only be played with 1 to 4 players, instead of 1 to 8.
