📢 Today, Mr. Adrian Lupuț, Public Manager at Timiș County Council, presented the results of the strategic project “𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥” (RORS15) at the online event “Interreg in Romania”, organized by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration.

💡 It was a valuable opportunity to share ideas, connect with peers, and highlight the results achieved. Beyond the investments, participants appreciated the strong 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 impact this project continues to generate.

✅ On the Romanian side, the rehabilitation of the Sânmihaiu Român hydrotechnical node was completed.
✅ On the Serbian side, works were carried out on the Srpski Itebej and Klek hydrotechnical nodes, bringing them back into operation. The Serbian partners also finalized a cycling path connecting Zrenjanin to the existing path coming from Timisoara, previously built with EU support, a symbol of continuity in cooperation.

🤝 The project was co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Romania–Serbia Programme 2014–2020.

The project partners were: Banat River Basin Administration, Romania; Timis County Council, Romania; Provincial Secretariat for Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government, Serbia; Public Water Management Company “Vode Vojvodine”, Serbia.
