**My Fellow Kenyans,**

As we navigate the current challenges, it is crucial that we come together and support the Finance Bill. Approving this bill will bring significant positive changes to our country.

In the 2022 election, you elected President He has been in office for two years, with three years remaining in his term. At the end of his five years, we will naturally want to assess his accomplishments. However, to enable him to deliver on his promises, we must give him the necessary tools and time.

The Finance Bill, currently in Parliament, is one such tool. For our country to progress and unite as one Kenya, one family, and one nation, this bill must be approved. We will then witness the transformative changes it can bring. When President Ruto took office, he inherited an empty office with substantial challenges, and he is determined not to borrow money from other countries. Therefore, it is up to us, as Kenyans, to pay our taxes and ensure our country moves forward.

If the budget is approved, many pending bills will be settled, and the country will see an influx of funds. It is essential to focus on the benefits we will gain rather than listening to those who call for rejecting the Finance Bill without understanding its implications.

Honesty compels us to remember the day we elected President Ruto. His agenda was clear: to help the people, especially small business owners like the “mamamboga.” Let us support him in achieving his vision and mission. This is his time, and we must allow him the space to work towards his goals.

At the end of his term, we can evaluate what he has done for us. Until then, our unity as one Kenya, one nation, is paramount. Our country’s success depends on our collective effort to support initiatives that promise growth and improvement.

I am confident that if we approve this Finance Bill, Parliament will enact changes that will significantly benefit our country. Let us embrace this opportunity for progress.

Thank you.

If you can dream and not make dreams your master.

This is a line which has special significance today. We live in exciting times wherein any one can dream big and work towards achieving those dreams with creativity, innovations and efforts. This is demonstrated by the plethora of start-ups, some of which emerge as unicorns and many others that fall by the way side. None of this would be possible without the big and sometimes audacious dreams of entrepreneurs in all walks of life. In fact, some of the spectacular success stories seen around the world, are based on bold dreams which would have been rejected out of hand a decade ago.

The lesson here is that dreams fuel success only when accompanied by hard on ground actions. Merely living in dream world will achieve nothing. This is particularly applicable to the leaders who are unable bridge the gap between ideas and ex*****on. They believe that their role is to only ideate and the conversion to reality is delegated to teams below. No doubt the team plays a significant role in ex*****on, however the leader is expected to inspire the team by occasionally rolling up sleeves and dirtying hands by demonstrating efficient ex*****on. Such leaders earn and sustain the respect of their teams.

I knew from the age of eighteen that I wanted to be a public speaker. That's when I started looking for ideas and inspiration! My father is the one who encouraged me to capture them so that I could use them. He would always say to me, "The number one time-waster is looking for things that are lost. You won't lose things if you have a place to put them." This is what prompted me to develop my filing system. Here's my process:

When I'm reading a book and find a quote that impacts me, I stop right then and mark it in brackets. And I ask myself, "What subject should that be filed under?" When I know the answer, I write the word next to the passage. Then I flip to the inside cover of the book and write the page number where I saw the quote and the subject. I continue to do the same when I find other quotes that stand out to me as I'm reading. When I finish the book, I go to print photocopies each quote, and it goes in a file on that subject. If I'm reading a magazine or newspaper and I see a quote or story I like, I mark it, decide on the subject, and rip out the page to keep. It goes into that subject file as well.

Even fatigue shows something within, beyond the physical strains. It can reveal the thousands of thoughts that come through your mind and what they are about.

Mental Health
Some of the most common mental health conditions, depression and anxiety, can be treated with talking therapies, medication, or a combination of these.

Treat yourself with kindness and respect, and avoid self criticism. Make time for your hobbies and favorite projects, or broaden your horizons. Do a daily crossword puzzle, plant a garden, take dance lessons, learn to play an instrument or become fluent in another language.

Try meditating, Mindfulness and prayer. Relaxation exercises and prayer can improve your mental health, state of mind and outlook on life.
