Former Russian🇷🇺Transport Minister Roman Starovoit has died in what appears to be su***de, according to Izvestiya. His body was reportedly found near his car, just hours after President Vladimir dismissed him from his post.

On the morning of Monday, July 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree dismissing Transport Minister Roman Starovoit for his suspected large scale theft of government funds earmarked for building fortifications on the region border. Previously he was the governor of the Kursk Region.

As part of the criminal case, the former Kursk governor could have received up to 20 years in prison.

Russian forces also attacked Odesa overnight, killing one person. The strike caused destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure, including service stations and vehicles.

Musk is promoting the idea of a new party amid harsh criticism from Republicans and their "Big and Beautiful Bill" - a law that increases the US national debt by $5 trillion.
