Have you ever looked at your dating history and thought, “Damn… why do I keep picking a different version of the SAME man?” 😂

Baby, sometimes our hearts follow patterns we didn’t even realize we had.

Maybe you keep choosing the emotionally unavailable one.
The one you have to “fix.”
The one who gives you just enough to keep you hanging on.
Or maybe chaos feels like chemistry because peace is something you had to learn later in life.

And here’s the grown-woman part: once you recognize the pattern, you have to decide whether you’re going to keep repeating it or finally break it.

I’ve learned that everything that feels familiar ain’t necessarily LOVE. And everything that gives you butterflies ain’t necessarily sent by God. Sometimes those butterflies are your warning system saying, “Girl… we have met this fool before!” 😂😂

Have you ever been the target of rumors or false accusations?

Baby, I’ve been lied on. I’ve been judged by people who didn’t know me, didn’t know my heart, and definitely didn’t know the truth.

That’s one reason I walk alone more these days. Some folks will smile in your face while creating a whole story behind your back. Baby, these hoes and bros can’t always be trusted.

But getting older has taught me something priceless…

I don’t live for everybody’s approval anymore.

The only opinions that truly matter to me are God’s, my family’s, and the people who genuinely love me. Everybody else can keep talking… because I’m going to keep walking.

We all have flaws. We all have moments. But growth starts when we’re honest with ourselves.

Can love really outweigh trust? Or can one exist without the other?

For me… trust is the foundation. Love, respect, loyalty, honesty, and consistency are non-negotiable.

I’m bringing all of that to the table, so I’m expecting the same in return. No more settling. No more accepting “almost.” No more making excuses for grown people.

When you truly know your worth, you stop chasing potential and start requiring standards.

I’m not asking for perfection… I’m asking for reciprocity.

Call that person who’s always been there for you.

Spend time with them. Laugh with them. Cry with them. Even fuss and make up with them. Those little moments—the Sunday dinners, the phone calls, the hugs, the inside jokes—those are the memories you’ll carry for a lifetime.

One day you’ll wish for just one more conversation, one more laugh, one more “I love you.”

Don’t wait until all you have left are pictures.
