Takbeer-e-Tashreeq (Arabic)
اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ، وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلّٰهِ الْحَمْدُ

Takbeer-e-Tashreeq (Transliteration)
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallahu, Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Wa lillahil hamd.

Urdu Translation
اللّٰه سب سے بڑا ہے، اللّٰه سب سے بڑا ہے، اللّٰه کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اور اللّٰه سب سے بڑا ہے، اللّٰه سب سے بڑا ہے، اور تمام تعریفیں اللّٰه ہی کے لیے ہیں۔

A companion asked: "A person likes his clothes and shoes to be nice; is this arrogance?" The Prophet replied: "Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. Arrogance means rejecting the truth and looking down on people."
The hadith is classified as "hasan sahih" (good and authentic) by Imam Tirmidhi.

The hadith emphasises that even the smallest amount of arrogance (kibr) can prevent a person from entering Paradise, while even the smallest amount of true faith (iman) can save a person from Hellfire[4][6].
The Prophet clarified that liking nice clothes or shoes is not arrogance; rather, arrogance is specifically defined as rejecting the truth and belittling others[4].
This narration is reported by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud and is found in Sahih Muslim as well, confirming its authenticity[4][6].

تکبر کی تعریف: حق کو نہ ماننا اور لوگوں کو حقیر سمجھنا۔

This hadith is a foundational teaching in Islam regarding the importance of humility and the grave danger of arrogance, regardless of how small it may seem[4][6].

A hadith from Sunan an-Nasa'i (Hadith 1382), narrated by Aws ibn Aws (رضي الله عنه).

Summary of the Hadith:

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"Whoever bathes (ghusl) on Friday, washes his head and body thoroughly, goes early to the mosque, arrives at the beginning of the sermon, sits near the Imam, listens attentively, and does not engage in idle talk, for every step he takes, he will receive the reward of a year's worth of fasting and praying at night (qiyam)."

Key Points Explained:

Ghusl on Friday: Performing a full ritual bath before attending the Friday (Jumu'ah) prayer is highly recommended.

Arriving Early: Going to the mosque early and being present from the beginning of the khutbah (sermon) is emphasised.

Listening Attentively: Sitting close to the Imam and listening without engaging in unnecessary speech or distractions is required for this reward.

Immense Reward: For each step taken towards the mosque, the person is rewarded as if they have fasted for a year and performed night prayers for a year for every step.

جس نے (اپنے سر یا کپڑوں کو) اچھی طرح دھویا اور غسل کیا اور اول وقت مسجد میں گیا۔ اور خطبہ کو شروع سے سنا اور امام کے قریب بیٹھا اور کوئی فضول کام نہ کیا، تو اسے ہر قدم کے عوض ایک سال کے صیام و قیام کا ثواب ملے گا۔

This hadith encourages Muslims to observe the etiquettes of Jumu'ah, including cleanliness, early arrival, and attentive listening, promising extraordinary rewards for those who do so.
