His Royal Highness, King Appolus Chu, the Oneh Eh Nchia the X of Eleme celebrated 20 years on the throne on December 20, 2025, at his palace in Nchia-Eleme, Rivers State, marking two decades of leadership and dedication to the preservation of Eleme culture and tradition.
The celebration featured the unveiling of statues in his honour, recognition of his status as the highest Yam Title holder in Eleme Kingdom, and the conferment of the title Ambassador of Eleme Culture and Tradition.
