Nicolas Chammaa is a distinguished hospitality leader with more than two decades of international experience across the UAE, GCC and worldwide. Currently General Manager at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa he is recognized for combining operational excellence with sustainable innovation and people-first leadership.
Since taking on the role in June 2022, Nicolas has led the resort’s transformation into a benchmark for sustainable luxury. Key initiatives under his guidance include eliminating single-use plastics, developing an organic garden, introducing water recycling systems, and securing multiple ISO certifications. He has also embedded sustainability into the guest journey, strengthened community partnerships, and empowered his team to lead with purpose.
Nicolas’s career path spans world-class brands such as IHG, Shangri-La, and Emaar Hospitality. From early roles in Bahrain, Oman, and the Philippines to senior leadership in Dubai and Umm Al Quwain, he has consistently delivered results, enhanced guest experiences, and inspired teams to achieve their potential.
