How does it work physically and mechanically?
Self-Interlocking: The wooden sticks rest on one another in an overlapping pattern to form a balanced structure.
Force Distribution: When a heavy load (such as a block of wood or a stone) is placed on the bridge, the downward force increases. This intensifies the frictional pressure between the interlocking sticks, making the bridge sturdier and stronger as the load increases (within the material limit of the sticks).
Weight Dispersion: Loads are transferred evenly from the center of the bridge through the interlocking sticks toward the two anchor points on either side of the bank (the soil blocks).
