I remember before I was muslim and I would get ready to leave the house, I would look in the mirror and check myself out. I still do it, but I do it to check different things out now.

I'm not looking to see if my hair and makeup are on point, I'm checking to see if all of my hair is tucked in and if any strands are sticking out the eye parts of my niqab.

I'm not looking to see how my figure looks in my outfit, I'm checking to make sure you don't see it and that my clothes flows over me and conceals every part of me.

Alhumdulillah for the way Allah has changed my heart and mind to understand beautiful and how to appreciate modesty.
