Wedding Over Imo! 💍 Celebrating Joy in the Heart of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦🇧🇩

Life as an expat in Saudi Arabia is a journey of continuous hard work and sacrifice. But today, the atmosphere was filled with pure joy as we celebrated the wedding of our dear brother, Sohag.

​Even though he is thousands of miles away from home, technology made this possible. The wedding was conducted via an Imo video call, connecting a heart in Bangladesh with a heart here in Saudi Arabia. After the emotional ceremony and prayers, we all gathered to enjoy a grand feast in traditional Saudi Arabian style. We shared a meal of delicious Biryani, Beef, and Mutton, following the Sunnah of eating together from one plate.

​In this foreign land, we are more than just colleagues; we are a family. Despite the joy and celebration, the reality of expat life remains—duty always comes first. Right after the festivities, we headed straight back to our responsibilities.

A Slice of Bangladesh in the Heart of Riyadh! 🇧🇩❤️

​Caption:

Today was my day off, and I ended up finding a place that felt exactly like home! I stumbled upon an area filled with my fellow Bangladeshis and authentic Bangladeshi hotels.

​The moment I saw the street food—Jhalmuri, Shingara, Chotpoti, and Bora—I couldn't control my cravings! I immediately ordered some spicy Jhalmuri, crispy Shingaras, and a perfect cup of milk tea. For a split second, the taste made me feel like I was back in Bangladesh. It was pure nostalgia! ☕✨

​Before leaving, I also found a Bangladeshi brother selling some fresh, beautiful bananas and grabbed a kilo. It’s amazing how food and our community can make us feel so connected, even when we are miles away from home.
