Yes, totoo siya. Pero ang tanong, sulit ba? The answer is oo, sulit.

Healthcare – Libre at worldclass dahil sa NHS. Hindi mo kailangang mag-alala sa hospital bills.

Education – Libre ang basic education at kilala ang universities worldwide. Para sa mga OFW, malaking tulong ito para sa future ng mga anak.

Job opportunities – Stable jobs with strong workers rights at mataas na minimum wage.

Quality of life – Safe, diverse, at maraming chances for personal and career growth.

Work life balance – Importante sa UK ang oras mo with family. May paid leaves, holidays, at mas pinapahalagahan ang well being ng employees.

Oo, mas mataas ang gastos sa simula, pero kapalit nito ay mas stable, mas safe, at mas fulfilling na quality of life, lalo na para sa mga OFW na ang goal ay mas magandang kinabukasan para sa pamilya.

Sa tingin niyo? Sulit nga ba? 🤔

Reality: Broken dikes. Ghost projects. Substandard materials.

Billions stolen while ordinary Filipinos drown in floods every year.

Instead of safety, corruption was built.

Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

Spent: $23 BILLION

Reality: Futuristic transport, world's largest driverless metro system spans 176km across Riyadh .

Money turned into progress, safety, and a future their people can trust.

Same billions. Two different stories.
🇸🇦 In Saudi Arabia: People SEE and FEEL the projects.
🇵🇭 In the Philippines: People only see floods… and the rich living lavishly from stolen funds.

Filipinos don’t need more budgets. We need accountability.
Billions are gone, but lives are still at risk 💔

Naranasan kong matulog sa karton sa Maynila, habang naghihintay ng sunod sunod na job interviews abroad. Hindi dahil trip ko, kundi dahil hindi ko kayang umuwing probinsya araw araw. Para hindi masayang ang pamasahe, tiniis ko ang lamig ng bangketa at ilang beses pang pinaalis ng guwardiya.

Ilang beses akong bumalik balik dala ang pag asa, pero kadalasan ang resulta ay “Sorry, not qualified.” Ilang beses akong umuwing gutom, walang laman ang tiyan, kasi sapat lng ang pera ko para sa pamasahe.

Pero kahit ilang beses akong naghirap, kahit ilang beses akong muntik sumuko, pinili ko pa ring kumapit. Pinili ko pa ring mangarap, dahil alam kong balang araw, may kapalit lahat ng hirap.

Tapos ngayong hihiritan mo lang ako ng “baka naman"?
😅 Huy, baka naman…
Baka naman subukan mo ring magsumikap.

Sana bago mo makita kung nasaan ako ngayon, malaman mo sana ang mga pinag daanan ko, pagod, kalam ng sikmura, pawis, sakripisyo, etc. Walang shortcut sa tagumpay kailangan mong dumaan sa proseso.

Respeto lang sana sa lahat ng nagsakripisyo bago nakaabot sa pangarap.
