I used to want to return bad energy on Social Media so bad, but I’m all grown now. I’ve come to realize that it’s needless to do so, especially when it’s not giving you shishi. I rather be called “dumb, a coward.”

Why waste time engaging in unnecessary arguments just to prove a point? And to who? 🤷‍♀️

I read a post on DANG’ Community this morning in commemoration of and it reminded me to appreciate the one Woman who gave me the wings to fly when no one did.

Years back I needed support to execute my documentary film project . I tried all the doors I knew but none opened to me.

Then a little birdie whispered to me that the State House of Assembly Member representing my constituency was all I needed to push through. I asked how I could access her and little birdie told me to knock on her gate and it’ll be opened to me. That I did and my life changed forever.

I came face to face with Rt. Hon. Ngunan Addingi on that fateful day and told her my vision. Right there she pledged her support and kept her word. That project was successful and I recorded a 100% ROI. Now the shocking thing was, she refused to take a penny out of what we made. She handed it all to me as though it wasn’t her funds we used to execute the project.

Over the years, she has continued to support and guide me. I recently started a YouTube Channel and she was the first to respond to my WhatsApp broadcast message. She subscribed almost immediately.

She lets me in on huge investment opportunities like we were business partners. The first I ever heard of Money Market Funds was from her.

She has taught me not to eat my tomorrow today. To aim not to look rich, but be rich.

She cares so much about me to the tiniest detail.
I wish the world had more women like her.

Women who are willing to help other women win.

Women who are willing to teach other women “HOW TO DO IT.”

Today I celebrate Rt. Hon. Ngunan Addingi for being my shining light on the road to success. Holding my hand, pointing me to opportunities, giving me the tools and resources that I need, and never letting go.
