The Saudi Foundingday یومِ تأسی ہر سال 22 فروری کو منایا جاتا ہے۔ یہ دن 1727ء میں امام محمد بن سعود کی جانب سے سعودی ریاست کے قیام کی یاد میں منایا جاتا ہے۔یہ دن اس وقت کی یاد دلاتا ہے جب الدرعیہ میں پہلی سعودی ریاست کی بنیاد رکھی گئی، جو بعد میں ایک مضبوط اور مستحکم حکومت بنی۔ امام محمد بن سعود نے اس وقت عرب جزیرے میں اتحاد اور استحکام کی بنیاد رکھی، جس کی بدولت آج سعودی عرب ایک جدید اور مستحکم ملک بن چکا ہے۔یہ دن سعودی ثقافت، ورثے، اور قومی تشخص کو اجاگر کرنے کے لیے منایا جاتا ہے۔ 2022ء میں شاہ سلمان بن عبدالعزیز نے اس دن کو سرکاری تعطیل کے طور پر منظور کیا تاکہ لوگ اپنی تاریخ اور ورثے کو بہتر طور پر سمجھ سکیں۔یہ دن سعودی قوم کے اتحاد، خودمختاری، اور ترقی کی علامت کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے۔
