Is This Really Sportsmanship? 🏏
Everyone says, “Stay away from drugs and come towards cricket.” We came nearly 100 kilometres to Pulwama Stadium just to watch a cricket match, support the players, and enjoy the true spirit of the game.
But what we witnessed during the inaugural Premier League Pulwama match between Royal Goodwill and Sultan was extremely disappointing.
After a small incident involving a six, Royal Goodwill’s captain IshNaG allegedly sent his team off the ground. The situation then escalated, with a huge crowd entering the field. Things became so tense that police had to use batons to control the situation, and several spectators were reportedly injured.
People had travelled from far away just to watch cricket and experience true sportsmanship, passion and respect for the game.
So the question is simple: Is this really the sportsmanship we expect from Royal Goodwill?
Cricket is not just about winning or losing. It is about respect, discipline, fair play and handling pressure like true sportsmen.
We travelled 100 km for cricket. We deserved to see a game played with dignity and sportsmanship. 🏏
Royal Goodwill — is this really the example of sportsmanship you want to set?

Aqib Pathan played a sensational 131 (Not Out)* and led Zoogu Tigers to a memorable victory against a strong side packed with some of the Valley's top players.
