About Us
We are a privately owned daily Newspaper in the Solomon Islands. Island Sun launched its first issue on Friday 6th October 2006. It began as a weekly newspaper before going twice a week in early 2007 and later to three times a week by the end of the same year.
In 2008, Island Sun was publishing five days a week and later added the Saturday issue in June of 2014. And now Island Sun is publishing on Sunday since August 2019.
We are located just up King Solomon Hotel where ‘In the Zone’ Medical center used to be. Call us on 26969 for directions.
