Swing to the Strings A program started by the national broadcaster You Me SIBC to encourage more young people to revive string bands - the original form of introduced music.

Swing to the Strings, STS, was started at the end of 2013 by the management of the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation, SIBC, aimed at encouraging young Solomon Islanders and those who love this unique authentic music of the country to keep it going into the long term future. It's going from strength to strength, thanks to SIBC's efforts!
