Busy international football schedule ahead for Seychelles

Seychelles football is set for a busy international programme over the next two months, with the country due to be represented in youth, women's, Olympic and beach soccer competitions. Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) chief executive Mr. Denis Rose outlined the programme during an interview last week, detailing a series of international assignments stretching from September into late October.

Lablache dominates kitesurfing as young windsurfers make national debut on Praslin

Grand Anse, Praslin, was the scene of a day of kitesurfing and windsurfing last Saturday, as competitors took to the water as part of the 2026 Praslin Culinary and Arts Festival. The competition was organised by the Creative Seychelles Agency (CSA) in partnership with the Seychelles Yachting Association (SYA), adding a sporting element to a festival celebrating Praslin's culinary, artistic and cultural activities.

Karki claims culinary honours at Praslin Culinary & Arts Festival

As is customary, the Praslin Culinary & Arts Festival 2026 included a culinary competition, bringing together chefs from some of the island's hospitality establishments for two days of competition, creativity and culinary skill. Held at Constance Lemuria Resort, the competition saw six chefs take on a series of challenges before Harikrishna Karki of Castello Beach Hotel eventually emerged with the top honours.
