Morobo Commissioner Concerned Over Delayed Projects

(MOROBO COUNTY) – The Commissioner of Morobo County, Charles Data Bullen, has expressed serious worry regarding the slow progress of development projects managed by partner organisations in the area. The Commissioner recently visited the site of a new detention centre near the county headquarters to check on its progress. During this visit, he found that the building work is not even half finished. This is despite the fact that the project was supposed to be completed several months ago. Funding for the detention centre was provided by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan....

(YEI RIVER COUNTY) - The Commissioner of Morobo County, Hon Charles Data Bullen, on Tuesday joined commissioners from Lainya, Kajokeji and Yei River counties at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan field site in Yei for the official handover of the facility to government authorities. The event followed the closure of UNMISS field level activities in the area. The ceremony brought together a wide range of participants, including youth representatives, civil society groups, non governmental organisations, traditional leaders and women groups.
