Archery lessons in Bhutan 🏹

You can see William stepping in to explain to Kate how to do it despite a professional Bhutanese archer already showing it to her 🫢😂 we get it Will!

Also why does Kate keep firing at people 😂😭 she’s quite the pretty danger 🥰

Lovebirds trekking in the Himalayan mountains ⛰

📍Tiger’s Nest, Bhutan 🇧🇹

Fun fact : Kate and William trekked in about 3 hours instead of 4-5 hours! That’s our very sporty couple 😍🥵
I love the fact that they’re holding hands while walking 🥺🥺🥺 not always the most practical but I bet William’s height and length of walk helped Kate a bit lol!

This spot looks just wonderful; my mother has been wanting to visit for ages! I, personally don’t know if I’d be able to climb 😂

It’s Easter Day 🐣

Happy Easter to everyone!
Happy Ramadan!
Happy Pesach!

Watch the Cambridges and their two children walk in the Chapel for the Service and walk out of it with a little wave of Kate at the end and two still quite shy children!

I’m delighted they’ve brought the kids with them! With the Queen and The Waleses not able to attend this make them the most senior members of the BRF to attend the Service 🥰

📍St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Berkshire.

Visiting the historic Ayer’s Rock, now called by its Aboriginal name, Uluru in Australia 🇦🇺

This spot is historical and so so beautiful 😍 Diana and Charles visited back in the 1983 which means William was on his second visit to the area!

in 2014 ❤️

Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is a massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory’s arid "Red Centre". The nearest large town is Alice Springs, 450km away.

Uluru is sacred to indigenous Australians and is thought to have started forming around 550 million years ago. It’s within Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, which also includes the 36 red-rock domes of the Kata Tjuta (colloquially “The Olgas”) formation.

On April 25, 2022 Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and D***ess of Cambridge attended the Anzac Day Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.

Anzac Day commemorates the first joint operation for Australian and New Zealand troops in WWI as they landed at Gallipoli in 1915 and encountered brutal fighting.

The anniversary has been honoured in London since the first anniversary of the Anzac landings at Gallipoli in 1916 when King George V attended a service at Westminster Abbey.

More than 120,000 Anzac, British, Indian, French, and Turkish soldiers died in the siege.

Its legacy is the celebration of the “Anzac spirit” – courage, endurance, initiative, discipline and mateship – shown by the Antipodean troops.

Earlier today, The Duke of Cambridge pays his respects at the Cenotaph.

“Behind every great man is an even greater woman.”

The first printed citation I can find of 'Behind every great man there's a great woman' is from the Texas newspaper The Port Arthur News, from February 1946. This was headed - "Meryll Frost - 'Most courageous athlete of 1945'"!

Needed to post the photo so badly and then … I found the video clip 🤩

I love how William knows he’s gotta wait for her to speak with kids (though that’s a different clip 😉) also how is slow mo so hot 🥵

The Royal Wedding of the century 💒

On April 29, 2011 Prince William of Wales married his longtime girlfriend Miss Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey in front of 1,900 wedding guests and 72 millions viewers watching on live on TV in more than 180 countries.

Miss Catherine Middleton wore a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown featured an ivory satin bodice slightly padded at the hips and narrowed at the waist, and was inspired by the Victorian tradition of corsetry that is a particular Alexander McQueen hallmark.
The bodice incorporated floral motifs cut from machine-made lace, which were then appliquéd on to silk net (tulle) by workers from the Royal School of Needlework, based at Hampton Court Palace. On the back were 58 buttons of gazar and organza, which fasten by means of rouleau loops.
The skirt, underskirt trim and bridal train (which measured 270 cm—110in) also incorporated lace appliquéd in a similar manner. The main body of the dress was made in ivory and white satin gazar, using UK fabrics which had been specially sourced by Sarah Burton, with a long, full skirt designed to echo an opening flower, with soft pleats which unfolded to the floor, forming a Victorian-style semi-bustle at the back, and finishing in a short train measuring just under three metres in length.

To partially fulfill the 'something blue' portion of the British wedding tradition, a blue ribbon was sewn inside the dress. The design for the bodice of the dress featuring lace in the style of the 19th century was the 'something old'.

The bride wore The Cartier Halo Scroll Tiara loaned to her by HMTQ and the groom wore his Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform.

The vows are the traditional ones : “I, William Arthur Philip Louis, take thee, Catherine Elizabeth to my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse; for richer, for poorer; in sickness and in health; to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy law; and thereto I give thee my troth."

You can see Kate’s nervousness in her little voice while William fondly smiling at her 🥺😍

Kate’s curtsy to the Queen was adorable 🥰

The Wedding Carriage 💒

Right after their wedding, the newlyweds now made Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and D***ess of Cambridge traveled from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace inside in a 109-year-old State Landau carriage, the same open-top coach that carried Lady Diana and The Prince of Wales on her wedding day in 1981.

You can see the amount of crowds but the best part of it all is when they pass under the Whitehall bridge … and held hands 🥰🥺 they thought no one could see them, yet you can see William stroking Kate’s hand she placed on his lap 😭

There’s something so magical, so fairytale-like in carriage riding especially with the graciousness Kate gets down while William carefully looks after her 🪄✨🥰

After getting inside BP the newlyweds took some time to thank their guests for coming, drank and ate some food and took the amazing official photographs that will (have) mark(ed) history 😍

The iconic wedding kisses 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏼

More than a million well wishers lined up from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace to watch the newlyweds on the balcony.

You can see Kate’s “oh wow” as she steps on the balcony as the enormous crowds were mind blowing (quite well behaved though!) and a one time event.

Everyone from everywhere in the world booked tickets for London to witness the union of Miss Catherine Middleton and Prince William of Wales.

And they did not disappoint the crowds chanting “kiss kiss kiss!” with TWO wedding kisses!

in 2011 🥹

I just love the way Catherine looks back one more time at the crowd soaking in what just happened to her mirroring what she did a few hours before at the Abbey when she looked back at the crowds, waved and stepped inside to marry the love of her life 🥰🥺

And just like that their married lives started 💒🪄
