It was a pleasure to see Fatou Sowe, one of The Gambia’s finest athletes and a true legend of track and field, in attendance today to show her support and solidarity for our young talents competing at the Gothia Cup in Sweden.

Her presence meant a lot to both Fortune FC U-16 and Gambinos Stars Africa U-17, who are proudly representing The Gambia on the international stage.

Legends inspire generations, and Fatou’s contribution to Gambian athletics will forever be remembered. Seeing her stand behind our young athletes and footballers is a perfect example of what One Gambia truly means.

We need more moments like this—supporting one another, celebrating each other’s achievements, and flying the Gambian flag together. 🇬🇲💚

🇬🇲⚽ A TRUE GAMBIAN FOOTBALL ICON ⚽🇬🇲

Momodou Ceesay, popularly known as Zico, is more than just a sporting director — he is a true servant of Gambian football.

A former Gambian legend, it was inspiring to watch him on the touchline, sharing his experience, passion, and football knowledge with the young players of Fortune FC. His humility, leadership, and dedication to the game continue to make a difference both on and off the pitch.

Seeing him guide the team, motivate the players, and push them to reach their full potential was a special moment. Football needs more people like Zico — leaders who lead by example and give back to the next generation.
