Born to raise hell - A Rockabilly & Psychobilly tribute to Motörhead in memory of Lemmy Kilmister
Vol 1 & 2 - Out now on 12" vinyl LP
In 2016, this tribute album was released digitally and as a limited edition CD that sold out immediately. Now after a lot of pressure, we have now chosen to release it on vinyl. Unfortunately, not all songs could fit on one LP, so we split the record into two LPs.
Lemmy Kilmister always said "We are Motörhead and we play rock'n'roll", and Motörhead's music is pure, honest fu***ng Rock'n'Roll. Lemmy also had the band "The Head Cat" with him Slim Jim Phantom from Stray Cats which made it a matter of course that we would make a tribute album and here you have it! The world's Rockabilly and Psychobilly elite come together here to show love to the legend Ian Fraser Kilmister as his real name was.
The cover artwork on Vol. 1 was done by Anton Shkiper from the band The Troubed (who also appear on the record).
