“Save Una!”
Jonathan Fraenkel-Eidse – representative in Oslo – takes care of media relations in Scandinavia. Right now, that work involves raising awareness of the wild and beautiful Croatian river Una, which in spite of its protected status is in imminent risk of being dammed. For many years, Patagonia has campaigned to preserve the few remaining wild rivers in the Balkans, as well as the unique nature that surrounds them. Right now, the only thing holding back the dam’s construction crews are the activists standing in the way. Today’s pan-European initiative from Patagonia is to send a selfie with the sign “Save Una” to get the attention of Croatia’s prime minister , asking him to listen to the people and protect this invaluable part of Europe’s natural heritage.
