While attending the Art Institute of Atlanta, getting her Computer Animation degree, Lindsay Archer was on the Dean’s List and a member of the Circle of Excellence. At the same time, she was also illustrating her first Role Playing Game, Legendmaker. Its promotion took her to her first Dragon Con in 1998, and opened up a whole new world.

Our final introduction of a guest writer is none other than Lindsay Archer! We could not be happier about having her on board to help us give even more colour to Windheim!

After graduation Lindsay attended Larry Elmore’s first art camp in Kentucky. Soon she was illustrating for Margaret Weis Productions / Sovereign Press where she worked on the Serenity RPG, Battlestar Galactica RPG, Dragonlance RPG, Maiden’s Quest by WizKids, and coloring books for the UK publication, Colouring Heaven.
Sadly, Lindsay had to abandon her art career after several major life disruptions. She suffers from C-PTSD and was attacked while painting, making it a complicated career path that got even more complicated. Having a heart for other survivors of trauma and abuse, she does what she can to advocate for victims, educate people on healthy relationships, and speak out against Domestic Violence.

She continues creating art and selling it, more as a hobby than a profession, while pursuing ways to more adequately provide for her family.

We are so exited to have Tania Herrero join us for an adventure seed with an attached sketch. Tania is an amazingly talented Spanish artist making amazing roleplaying game contents. She won a silver ENnie - Best adventure long form - 2025 for her Crown of Salt. She recently ran a Kickstarter for a very cool book called Menagerie of Unbearable Things, and is working on a (compatible with) Mörk Borg setting named Fomoria.

We a SO excited about the next guest writer! We can't really believe we got him onboard for this! 🤩
Kosta Kostulas should perhaps really not need a presentation. But here it goes.
Being one of the founding members of Free League Publishing, he has been deep in the RPG industry for decades. He is primarily working on the Coriolis IP, but has also done work on Mutant Year Zero, Forbidden Lands and other games. Privately he is a major fan of skirmish games.

Matthew Tyler-Jones is a host of the Effekt podcast, and co-creator of Tales of the Old West, as well as working on award-winning games like Alien RPG and Vaesen. He's also a designer and consultant to the heritage visitor attractions sector, working at Historic Royal Palaces, Kew Gardens, museums and the National Trust. His Doctorate was in Ludic Cultural Narratives in Cultural Heritage Attractions.

Next one on our list of amazing guest authors for adventure seeds is Ola Larsson who will also contribute with a sketch! Ola Larsson resides in Malmö in the south of Sweden where he’s working within the game, animation and the music-industry as a freelance illustrator and artist. Moonlights as a drummer off work. Mostly known for his awesome illustrations for Free Leagues MUTANT-roleplaying games and Elosos Swedish version of Call of Cthulhu Sweden. We're so hyped!

Maria 'Mia' Gibson has her feet firmly rooted in the firtile soil of writing poetry and a love of language, education and storytelling. Having played role-playing games since her teens, she entered the world of Swedish actual play podcasting in 2020, which kick-started a lust for writing for TTRPGs herself. She recently added the horror starter Rest for KULT: Divinity Lost (Broken Reflections collection) to her resume. For Nordic Skalds she has previously done primarily proofreading (Windheim Världsbok and Windheim - Spår av Mörker, Min faders Svärd/My Father's Sword) and is currently writing a "choose your own adventure" book in the Cthulhu mythos for them. So glad she also will write an adventure seed for the upcoming Windheim Adventures!

Magnus Seter has been writing RPGs professionally since the early 90’s. He is also the only writer that has written for every publisher that has ever put out a Drakar och Demoner book. Nowadays this award winning writer is mostly known for Troll’s Spire & his work on the official Bestiary for Dragonbane, the book Outside the Box (a book about the Swedish RPG wonder), and of course also for helping us with a lot of the monsters for our first Windheim books of course. We're so looking forward to the adventure seed he's going to write for Windheim Adventures!

Toni Winslow-Brill is a sassy superwoman by day and a villainous, elven half-dragon by night. When not navigating the treacherous seas as a freelance game designer and editor, she works as Communications Manager for both D&D Adventurers League and Legends of Greyhawk. Toni has authored numerous titles but some of her works includes Arora: Age of Desolation (Ghostfire Games), the Aetherial Expanse (Ghostfire Games), Candlekeep Mysteries (Wizards of the Coast), The Crooked Moon (Legends of Avantris), and Draw Steel (MCDM). Just be careful of that smile, she is ancient and dangerous, having played her first D&D game at the age of 10.

Ellinor DiLorenzo is the creative genius behind the Dragonbane (& Vaesen) tutorial videos on Youtube. She is also the GM & producer of the excellent Vaesen podcast Lost Mountain Saga. Her adventure seed for the Windheim Companion was so chaotically excellent we couldn’t not ask her to do another one for Windheim Adventures! So looking forward to this!

Emil Gradén co-founder of Astrolab Game Studio who will soon release the new version of Ereb Altor to the Swedish Dragonbane audience. Mainly known for his beautifully, technically accomplished, illustrations for games like Kopparhavets hjältar, Chock, Expert Partisan and of course Ereb Altor. But behind his tattooed surface also a passionate player and GM with a knick for writing cool stories. So exited to see what adventure seed and sketch he comes up with for Windheim!

Say hello to our next guest writer! None other than Luke Gygax!
He is the son of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) co-creator Gary Gygax, Ennie Award winning designer, and Founder of Gary Con®, a memorial convention held in honor of his father every March in their hometown of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin (garycon.com). Luke literally grew up at the gaming table with the designers that laid the foundation of the RPG industry. He played the iconic character Melf, aka Prince Brightflame, in his father’s World of Greyhawk campaign. Melf was a powerful wizard who adventured through many legendary scenarios from the golden age of D&D, and his name and image remains in the latest edition of D&D today. Luke play-tested numerous iconic AD&D modules and game systems such as Star Frontiers, Dangerous Journeys, Cyborg Commando as a young man. He created several creatures for D&D with the bullywug being the most well-known.

Luke authored several role-playing game accessories including Legion of Gold (Gamma World), The Lost City of Gaxmoor (D&D), The Dread From Geneva Lake I & 2, Madness at Geneva Lake (Call of Cthulhu) and several scenarios in his Blighted Lands fantasy setting in The World of Okkorim© for D&D, Shadowdark and other OSR rules sets through his company Gygax Ink®. He partnered with Gooey Cube in March of 2024 for the highly successful The Tomb of Gyzaengaxx campaign that raised over $680,000! Luke is carrying his father’s legacy forward as a creative consultant and writer on Troll Lord Games Castle Zagyg line, Gary Gygax’s last unpublished campaign.

Look for Luke at fine conventions around the country as he promotes tabletop gaming through exciting live play sessions, public and private D&D games, panels and seminars. He is thoroughly enjoying being an active leader in the gaming community since he retired from the United States Army in 2022 after serving 33 years. He is also very proud to have raised over $200,000 at Gary Con to benefit the local Children’s Hospital in the state of Wisconsin. Luke currently resides in Southern California with his beautiful wife, Bouchra, their three daughters, Miriam, Amira and Sabrina, and his faithful canine companion, Grogu Spoticus Gygax.
