Is it possible to work in Tech if you are not a Technical Wizard?🧙♂️
The answer is both yes and no, let me explain...
The "NO" side of things:
* You have to understand - to some extent - what problems you are solving and for whom.
* In essence; How do your service or solution create value in the marketplace.
* However, this also stands true for any industry and role!
The "YES" side of things:
* Everyone is good at different tings, and in order to truly help a client solve key business problems, there is no single person who can do it all.
* We have to work as a true team, where everyone contributes with their specific expertise.
* This means that roles like Sales reps, Customer Success or Project -Managers seldom are the most technical people in the room (often, far from it).
* While the Pre-Sales Engineers and Solution Architects of the world are the real techy problem solvers.
In the end, as a true Harry Potter fan; Neither can succeed while the other fails - we need to work as a team, where everyone focuses on what they do best!
