👉 Snöboll, a new investment company from Nordic Angels and Priority Group

Snöboll is a new Nordic investment company that acquires mature portfolios from leading angel investors, primarily in exchange for shares in the company, while continuously co-investing in their future deals.

The company is initially mobilizing SEK 200 million with a combined portfolio value of up to SEK 1 billion and is targeting a public listing within 12–18 months.

The initiative is backed by Nordic Angels, founded by Ash Pournouri and Andreas Grape, in partnership with Priority Group, founded by former Swedish Minister for Enterprise Björn Rosengren and Magnus Rosengren.

This autumn, Nordic Angels and Styrelseakademien are bringing the certified board education programme to Angel House Members Club in Stockholm.

Three dates: August 31, September 4 and September 7.

This is the certified board programme designed for those who want to play a more active role in their portfolio companies. It combines proven frameworks for effective board work with practical perspectives on governance, legal responsibility, AI, digital development and long-term value creation.

Participants will meet experienced investors and guest speakers from the Nordic Angels network, take part in selected partner sessions, and join a carefully curated group of peers.

The programme leads to an ecoDa-endorsed certification and offers practical tools for stronger board work in growing companies.

Together with Xpometer and Vinge, Nordic Angels gathered a select group of Sweden’s leading investors at Angel House for a lunch conversation with Sweden’s Minister for Justice, Gunnar Strömmer.

The global race for security dominance is accelerating. Cyber threats, defence spending, and critical infrastructure are redrawing the map of where capital flows – and who controls it.

This lunch brought together a rare group of decision-makers to ask: where does the smart money go in an era defined by threat?

What emerged was a shared conviction: the security of the Nordics will be shaped as much by capital as by policy – and the two need to move together.

Building a business is ultimately about one thing: proving you can make money. We’ve invested heavily in our product, our people, our platform, our partners, and above all in our community of 3,000 Angels. But reaching black numbers feels different. It means something.

To put it in perspective: we’ve helped deploy €50M+ into Nordic startups and scale-ups, and not once did we charge our community for that through our platform. We built trust first. Revenue followed.
Nordic Angels is now the largest investor network in the region. Ever.

This post isn’t really about us. It’s a reminder to every founder out there: a startup is only a startup until you prove otherwise. You have a thesis. You have an idea. Now show the world you can turn it into a real company.
