We decided to take a quick family photo in the apartment before heading out for a long Sunday walk to the park. Summer in the city means living in breathable cotton, sensible walking shoes, and Lissel’s favorite straw hat to beat the sun.
Edmund is already mentally calculating how long it will take us to catch the downtown bus, Rosie is vibrating with energy to go play, and little Edward Arthur is just happy to be holding his big sister's hand.

Midnight Sweets and Sticky Paws
Late-night summer adventures are always the sweetest.
While the rest of the countryside was fast asleep, Theodore and his tiny woodland friends found themselves in the quiet local diner for a midnight treat, and things got just a little bit messy! đŸŠđŸŸ
Between the sticky fudge footprints, the melted vanilla mountains, and a very eager little fox cub, there is nothing but pure, innocent joy. Theodore doesn't mind the spilled sprinkles or his messy shirt; he knows that the most beautiful memories are usually the ones where we forget to be perfectly tidy and just allow ourselves to enjoy the moment with the friends we love.

Sometimes, a little bit of sweet mischief is exactly what the heart needs.

Sunday best and summer smiles! đŸŒ»âœš We managed to capture this rare, fleeting miracle where everyone is actually looking at the camera, smiling, and—most importantly—no one has spilled anything on their white clothes (yet!). 😅
Getting the kids dressed up for a weekend family gathering outside the city is always a bit of a marathon. Between Rosie trying to turn her new sandals into running shoes and Edward Arthur protesting his suspenders, mornings like this are beautifully chaotic. But seeing them standing here together, looking so grown up and sweet, makes the morning rush absolutely worth it.
Edmund is putting on a brave face, though we both know he’s just hoping those suspenders hold out until lunch!
