Driving a MINI is always fun—but the new MINI Electric models take it further. At Pathumthani Speedway, we put the JCW and JCW Aceman through gymkhana and track sessions, and they delivered sharp steering, instant torque, and that signature go-kart feel. The Aceman stood out with its agility, thanks to a low center of gravity and balanced chassis.

Following that, we took them on a scenic drive to Saraburi and Khao Yai. Surprisingly refined, they offered a smooth, quiet ride and solid comfort—proving these EVs aren’t just about performance, but everyday usability too. The JCW Electric range keeps the MINI spirit alive, just with a modern charge.

We had the opportunity to experience the future of driving at the BYD Intelligent Driving Camp in Shenzhen, China. From self-parking tech and a full 360° tank turn to conquering off-roading courses —BYD is setting the bar for innovation.

We are excited to see which of these game-changing cars and features will make their way to Singapore next.

Our debut in Sepang was a mix of challenges and successes. We adapted quickly and stayed focused on our goals, racing with an intent of positivity and togetherness. Aiden’s climb from P7 to a well-earned P3 showcased both his talent and our team’s determination. We’re proud of his achievement, and as a united team, we’re excited to support him as he continues his journey as a racing driver.

There’s nothing like starting the morning with a spirited drive up mountain roads, and the Škoda Octavia RS makes it even better. Its punchy acceleration and sharp handling bring joy on every curve, while the comfort makes it perfect for daily driving. Grabbing a hot cup of coffee at the top, while enjoying the cold, crisp mountain air, feels like the ideal stopover after a good drive.

The recent facelift adds to its charm with a sleeker grille, slimmer headlights, and sharper bumpers, all nodding to Škoda’s 130 years of innovation.

The Škoda Kodiaq often flies under the radar, but it’s a true gem. Built on the robust MQB platform shared with Volkswagen’s premium models, it delivers exceptional build quality, impressive handling for its size, and an interior that’s both fresh and highly ergonomic.
The Horizon team put the Kodiaq through its paces, covering 4000km in just a week. Driving from Singapore to Bangkok in 3 days and back in 2, it tackled rough roads, monsoon rains, and long highway stretches with remarkable ease.

As the saying goes, nothing worth having comes easy. Our mission was to drive from Singapore to Bangkok, but it was the challenges and camaraderie along the way that made the journey truly unforgettable. Being part of the Porsche Singapore family and documenting this incredible adventure was the perfect way to end the year on a high note - and it’s only inspired us to embark on more trips and tell more stories this year.

What an incredible way to end the year! A 2000km drive from Singapore to Bangkok for Das Treffen 09 was an unforgettable adventure. Over 3 days, we braved monsoon rains, dodged floods, and shared stories with the Porsche community. Their passion—for their cars and the bonds they’ve built—was inspiring, showcasing a camaraderie and family spirit that transcends generations. This journey was a true celebration of connection and shared love.

With the launch of Singapore’s first locally made EV sedan, following the successful debut of the IONIQ 5, the IONIQ 6 showcases advancements in production and technical capabilities. It has also received international accolades in 2023 when it first launched globally. What made the entire event better was the delicious food served at at the end of our tour.
