🚁 Exciting Drone Workshops This June – Learn, Fly, and Bond as a Family!

Looking for a unique and enriching activity for your children this June school holiday? Join us at ThrottleUp’s Drone Workshops – where flying drones becomes more than just fun… it becomes a life skill!

Designed for kids aged 8 and up (and parents too!), our workshops offer a hands-on introduction to the fascinating world of drones. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already has some experience, we have something for every skill level – and families are welcome to learn and fly together!

Why Drone Flying?
• It’s a valuable STEM skill with real-world applications in drone photography, racing, aerospace engineering, and robotics.
• Builds focus, coordination, and confidence.
• A unique way for families to bond through a modern and exciting experience.

What We Offer:

📍 Location: Outdoor venue at Kranji – 3 mins by car or 15 mins by bus from Kranji MRT. Includes shelter, parking, and amenities.
🗓 Dates: June 7, 8, 14, and 15 (weekends). For group bookings on other dates, contact us directly.
🎓 Led by certified instructors – experienced educators, course developers, and licensed drone pilots.

🛫 Workshop Levels & Fees:

Beginner (1.5 hrs) – $100/pax
Learn to fly a Tello drone, a popular micro drone for education.
Perfect for those new to drones.
Minimum 4 participants.

Advanced Beginner (1.5 hrs) – $120/pax
Fly the DJI Mini series, known for its powerful filming features in a compact size.
Ideal for those with basic flying experience.
Minimum 4 participants.

Intermediate (1.5 hrs) – $150/pax
Take flight with the DJI Avata FPV drone using FPV goggles – an exciting intro to drone racing!
For confident flyers ready to level up.
Minimum 4 participants.

🧑‍👧‍👦 Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent. Families can book sessions together and even attend multiple workshops for a progressive learning experience.

All equipment is provided – just come in comfortable clothes, with a hat, sunscreen, and water!

Inspired by the maestro himself, Herbert von Karajan, conductor. Classical music influences classical architecture: at the highest point in the tower of the Dolder Grand’s main building is the Maestro Suite. This extraordinary twotier Top Suite offers 400 square meters (4,300 square feet) of living space. Each of the two bedrooms has its own luxurious bathroom finished in pale and dark marble (Bianco Oro and Portoro ), and in addition to the whirlpool and steam shower, one of them also features a sauna. The classically appointed dining room is situated in the circular tower room and can be served from the en suite kitchen. The library is ideal for reading or working in peace and quiet. On the upper floor, the comfortable tower room is the perfect place to relax. Here, the spire’s dark red timber work has been restored to its original state based on historical documentation. Subtly colored sofas and chaises lounges, together with a bar and fireplace, complete the distinctive club style. The spacious balcony looking out from the tower room is the Dolder Grand’s highest viewpoint. For modern outdoor living, the Maestro Suite offers another highlight: the private loungestyle terrace provides breathtaking views of the city of Zurich, the lake and the Alps.
