Migrant Talent Hunt Competition 2024

Calling all talented migrant workers! This is your chance to shine and showcase your skills in one of our exciting categories:

Important Note: Please read the guidelines carefully to avoid disqualification.

1. Photography

Guidelines:
-each participant can submit 1 ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH
-write a captivating caption/description of your photo with not more than “80” words. The caption should reflect the idea or message behind the image.
-No AI generated images or write up
-Photographs must be in jpeg or png format
-Basic photo editing (e.g., cropping, brightness, contrast adjustment) is allowed, but heavily edited images (e.g., filters, excessive retouching) are discouraged.
-The photograph must be taken by the participant. Plagiarism or submitting others' work will result in immediate disqualification.

2. Videography

Guidelines:
-Each participant can submit 1 original video.
-The video must not exceed a maximum length of 5 minutes.
-There is no specific theme, but participants are encouraged to focus on storytelling, creativity, and originality in their video content.
-Videos must be submitted in MP4, MOV, or AVI format. Ensure the file size does not exceed 500MB.
-The video must be the participant’s own work. Plagiarism or submission of someone else’s work will lead to disqualification.
-Ensure the audio (music, voice, sound effects) is clear and well-balanced.
-All sound used must be royalty-free, self-composed, or used with proper permission.
-Participants retain full rights to their videos, but by entering the competition, they grant the organizers permission to use the videos for promotional purposes, with full credit to the videographer.

3. Dance

Guidelines:
-dance presentation must be 3 minutes
-solo, duo or group performances allowed
-all dance styles are welcome (hip hop, traditional, contemporary etc)
-Performances should not contain offensive language, discriminatory themes, or inappropriate gestures. Keep the performance respectful and family-friendly.
