Malayan Council prides itself in providing a fine dining experience catered especially for the Malay Muslim community. It has a superb menu that is a reflection of it's innovation. Hafiz tries his best to ensure that customers have a good dining experience! However, pleasing everyone is an impossible feat — something that Hafidz has learnt along the way. While he used to be deterred by negative comments, he now sees them as critical criticism that helps to improve Malayan Council. ❇️

Hanip has been in the automobile industry for over two decades. Hanip was one of the best mechanics of his time many years back. He already had a successful career but thanks to his late father, he went on to pursue his own car workshop business.

Despite Hanip’s lack of knowledge in business, his father saw positive qualities in his son which he knew would make him a good businessman. Honesty, good discipline, and knowledge fuelled by interest — this is what he still strongly believes in. 🙌🏼

Every cloud has a silver lining. ⛅️

When Rina’s business came crumbling down, we had to let go of her possessions and close all her retail stores. What remained was her online store which, thankfully, she didn’t shut down. In desperation mod, Rina began sourcing for solutions and it led her to new pathways and opportunities she didn’t see coming. 🌻

Remember, no matter how bleak a situation may seem, if you continue to push through, goodness can come out of it. Stay stubborn. Stay motivated. Your difficult times are not failures, but rather a redirection to other paths of success. ❇️

Before ‘modest fashion’ became a globally known term, there was – and still is to this day – SUFYAA. Among the first to pioneer modestwear via e-commerce, SUFYAA was founded by Ms Rina Tahar in 2011, some time after she made the conscious decision to start wearing the hijab. A draftswoman at that time, Rina felt a lack of quality and practical modest wear for Muslim women of the corporate world. Spurred by the desire to fulfill this need, Rina left her corporate job to set up her own modest fashion line.
