Established in 1905, Cognac Bache-Gabrielsen is a fourth-generation family-owned/managed house in the town of Cognac. Founder Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen was originally from Norway. Tre Kors VS was created in 1916 in response to the onset of Prohibition in Norway. Thanks to doctors prescribing Tre Kors VS as a medicine, “sick” Norwegians were able to circumvent the Prohibition. Family-owned, family-managed, and with the same family producing the wines, CHAMPAGNE GAMET has vineyards located on both the Right Bank and Left Bank of the Marne River. The fourth-generation is in place today, making wines that are fruity, deliciously accessible, dry – even very dry – and textural because of their high percentage of black grapes, namely Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir.
