Being a creator isn’t a cheap-ass job.
Just because we don’t drive a company car or have a “proper” office doesn’t mean this isn’t real work.

Let’s be real.
When you reach out to a content creator, you’re not just asking for a 30-second video or “just post on your story je…”
You’re tapping into:
1️⃣ An audience they’ve built for years — showing up, earning trust, building a community. Not overnight, not by accident. (Unless those who buy followers gradually .. 😉)
2️⃣ The time and effort to plan, shoot, edit, subtitle, and actually make something worth watching.
And yes — there’s always someone who goes: “It’s okay Syuk, no need to edit lah.”
Boomer energy. That’s not how content works.
3️⃣ Creative direction — because let’s be honest, you’re hoping we figure out the hook, the message, and how to make your brand look good… without a proper brief.
4️⃣ Platform sense — what works on TikTok might flop on Instagram. Posting isn’t just upload and go. There's actual thinking involved.
5️⃣ And most importantly — our face, our name, our credibility gets tied to whatever you’re putting out. That’s not something we hand out lightly.
And worst still?
Some of these same people who want cheap ads or marketing…
Are the ones asking for 3 versions, a reshoot, “Can make it more lively ah?”
Like you’re paying top dollar, but you’re not.
Look … not trying to be a diva here.
But I don't know about you , I’m more likely to give extras to clients who give me the space to do my best work…
Than to those trying to squeeze every last drop from a $200 budget (where $100 is given to do a giveaway)…
Being a creator isn’t a cheap-ass job.
Just because we don’t drive a company car or have a “proper” office doesn’t mean this isn’t real work.
And reaching out to content creators like we’re some side hustle student with a ring light, offering $100 to “buat video je”…
Come on.
You want impact? Respect the process.
You want value? Respect the person behind it.
