We had a memorable BICBF. Our publisher Hidayah Amin was the team leader who brought 6 authors and publishers to BICBF. Everyone worked hard and well together. The frequent meetings and discussions to prepare for BICBF was worth it. The Korean kids enjoyed the storytelling session by Maria Mahat and the various activities at our booth. We have learned a lot from the interactions with Koreans parents, authors and publishers. Hidayah was delighted when the Koreans parents said that her Korean is good.

Our Publisher Hidayah Amin spoke at the ‘Art of Ability’ conference in Dubai recently. It was held at the gorgeous Muhammad bin Rashid library. It was heartening to listen to passionate activists and educators about inclusivity and of people of determination (a term used in the UAE to describe people with special needs). Our blind moderator Faris is very inspiring; so are the rest of the panellists. Our friend Laura Peh of .official also spoke at a separate panel. Singapore represents!
