With good remuneration package, I will never have to worry about having financial difficulties. Till the world is hit badly by Covid 19 in Year 2020, many had been lay off no matter how long they have been on the job. No matter how spectacular their performance have been. No matter

how old they are. We are all dispensable in our job. This is just part and parcel of life. At the same period of time, I also realised that I had been missing out enjoying my children growing milestone. This is the biggest regret I ever had in my life. I had been so busy working hard trying to earn for a living. However no matter how hard I worked, with the high living expenses in Singapore, it is never enough. I tend to work for long hours and neglecting my family. Hence, I decided to look for my backup plan then. I chanced upon this digital business and decided to take a leap of faith to change my lifestyle. I am thankful to myself to have taken this first step. 𝙄 𝘾𝘼𝙈𝙀 𝘽𝘼𝘾𝙆 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝘽𝙍𝙊𝙆𝙀𝙉 𝙒𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙍 😭

You won't believe this—our shower heater decided to quit on us just as we were all set to wash up and in this freezing weather of all times! 🥶

For someone like me, who is practically "allergic" to the cold, taking that icy shower felt like a mini survival challenge.😂

But hey, I didn't realise taking a cold shower does benefit our body!

💪 Boost circulation and immunity.
💪 Improve alertness and mood.
💪 Soothe sore muscles and tighten skin.
💪 Strengthen discipline and resilience.

So it is actually not as bad as I think. Doing something out of the norm though bring us some uncomfortableness, but it actually does us good in the long term.

Try getting into a cold shower, and you will see changes in you soon.

Balancing work and family commitments as a mom is definitely a juggling act, but with the right strategies, it can feel more manageable.

Here are some approaches that I use while juggling with my children :

✨️ Set Priorities - Identify the non-negotiables in both work and family life. I use these to guide my schedule and decisions. Remember, not everything is urgent or important, and that is okay!

✨️ Establish Boundaries - Create clear boundaries between work time and family time. I let my loved ones know when I am “on the clock” and ensure that work doesn’t spill over into moments that matter with my kids.

✨️ Create a Schedule That Works for You - i I plan my day around my family. For instance, use early mornings, nap times, or after bedtime to focus on work, and dedicate afternoons to family activities.

✨️ Delegate and Share the Load - I don’t have to do it all! I delegate household chores to my partner and my kids. Freeing up my time allows me to focus on my priorities.

✨️ Practice Flexible Thinking - Life with kids is unpredictable, so embrace flexibility. Have a backup plan for unexpected situations, and do not be afraid to adjust your work or family plans when needed.

✨️ Involve My Family in the Journey - I share my business goals with my family and let them be part of my journey. They will better understand why my work is important and even cheer me on!

✨️ Take Breaks and Reconnect - Plan breaks during the day to spend quality time with my kids, even if it’s just 15 minutes to read a book or have a snack together. These little moments add up.

✨️ Embrace “Good Enough - Perfection is not the goal—balance is. Some days work may take precedence, and other days family comes first. Be kind to yourself and focus on the bigger picture.

✨️ Self-Care Is Non-Negotiable - I prioritize my mental and physical well-being. A happy, healthy me is the foundation for managing both work and family effectively.

Balancing work and family is not about achieving perfection—it's about finding what works for *you*.

Some days will be smooth, others might feel like a rollercoaster, and that is okay. Remember, we are doing something amazing: building a future for our family while being present for the ones we love. 💖

Who else shares my love for Thai Pancakes? 😋😋

I first fell in love with this scrumptious dessert during our year-end trip to Bangkok last year.

The delicate, crispy edges and the sweet, chewy filling—each bite was a perfect blend of flavors that instantly transported me to food heaven.

It is one of those unforgettable treats that makes every trip even more special!

Imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon it today at ! 😆😆

The familiar aroma brought back a flood of happy memories, and it was even more delightful to enjoy it with my little one.

Seeing the joy on his face as he savored each bite melted my heart! 🥰

It's amazing how such a simple treat can carry so many wonderful memories and create new ones.
