During the book launch yesterday, someone mistook us writers for athletes. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We were flattered, but also told them they were very wrong. The most athletic part of our bodies are our fingers, from typing all day. ⌨️

But that didn’t stop us from having some fun and pretending to be the athletes on our book covers. If you can’t beat ‘em, cosplay as ‘em.

By now, you would’ve heard that our new book 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 is about the B-sides of Singapore’s founding leaders. But some are arguably lesser known than others.

Grace Fu, President of the Singapore National Olympic Council, teed us off with an inspiring opening speech, before we got to hear from athletes Max Maeder, Loh Kean Yew, and father of the Fandi bros, Fandi Ahmad Official. 🪁🏸⚽️

Sailing through the inspiring stories of eight local athletes, the series aims to celebrate them this SG60 and inspire Singapore's next generation of athletes through the power of storytelling! 📖
