After leaving Meyer Turku Shipyard in Finland and crossing under the Great Belt Bridge, Royal Caribbean International newest ship arrived in Cadiz, Spain for a short technical stop.

The World Largest Ship will soon head across the Atlantic Ocean for Ponce, Puerto Rico before finally arriving at her homeport of Port Canaveral, Orlando!

Norwegian Encore in Ketchikan!

Arriving early in the morning, Norwegian Cruise Line sails into Ketchikan, Alaska berthing beside her fleet mate .

NCL usually/always docks at Ward Cove which is quite a distane from the main town requiring a shuttle bus and long lines can be expected. Do factor this going ashore!

Norwegian Encore is the 4th and final cruise ship of the Breakaway Plus Class. She was delivered in Oct 2019 and becomes the 14th and final cruise ship that Meyer Werft has build for NCL. Weighing in at 169,145 Gross Tonnge, she currently remains the largest ship ever build for NCL.

Star Of The Seas Leaves Meyer Turku!

, Royal Caribbean International
latest ship, has officially left Meyer Turku Shipyard in Finland, a significant milestone achieved since the laying of its keel in December 2023.

Measuring 248,663 gross tons, Star of the Seas holds the title of world's largest cruise ship, jointly with Icon Of The Seas.

Upon departure, the vessel bid farewell to its sister ship, Legend Of The Seas, which is currently under construction at Meyer Turku.

Construction progress report!

Work is advancing on Disney Cruise Line Newest and Largest vessel, Disney Adventure, in Wismar, Germany. They have since added the Yellow Lifeboats to her Port Side and the track for the World's Longest Roller Coaster called Ironcycle Test Run have been completely installed.

The Legend Is Coming!

Are you prepared for the forthcoming arrival of Royal Caribbean International future ship Legend Of The Seas?

Here are some aerial photos of Royal Caribbean's future ship! Legend is the 3rd Icon Class Ship currently under construction at Meyer Turku Shipyard in Finland and is scheduled to debut in 2026! Just a few days ago, Legend reached a milestone when she got her Aqua Dome successfully installed!

In the summer of 2026, Legend will sail her inaugural voyage from Barcelona before repositioning to Port Everglades, Florida in November to begin her Caribbean Season!

Star Of The Seas Offically Delivered!

After months of planning and construction Royal Caribbean International has been offically delivered By Meyer Turku!

She will undergo final outfitting in Turku until July 17, 2025, and then in Cadiz, Spain, from July 24 to 26, 2025 before heading across the Atlantic to her homeport of Port Canaveral, Orlando, Florida!

The third Icon ship, Legend of the Seas, is scheduled to be floated out from Meyer Turku's building dock after the summer. It is planned to debut in Barcelona in 2026.

Construction Update!

Disney Cruise Line construction is progressing well!

Workers have installed more of the Ironcycle Roller Coaster and it is now visible on the starboard side of the ship!

There are also pieces of the distinct red water slides on the ground waiting to be installed, which we believe are for Toy Story Place.

Disney Adventure sails in less than 6 months from Singapore on 15 Dec 2025!

On June 24 2025, Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal welcomed 3 ships namely Royal Caribbean International , Adora Cruises and Costa Cruises as more than 22,000 guests arrived and departed in one day!

Marking the start of the summer season in China, it was also the highest number of guests since the resumption of cruises from Shanghai!

Both the cruise terminal, immigration, port and local authorities worked together to formulate a plan for high passenger flow and smooth operation turnaround along with the time periods for the arrival and departure of the cruise ships!

StarCruises Homeports in Hong Kong!

StarCruises has arrived in Hong Kong to begin her inaugural homeport season after a repositioning cruise from Singapore!

Sailing weekly from the centrally located Ocean Terminal right in Hong Kong, Star Voyager will now offer more than 45 sailings during its more than 5 month homeport stay in Hong Kong!

Ranging from 2 to 5 night itineraries, guests can sail on the Star Voyager for a short 2 night high sea cruise to longer 5 Night voyages to Taiwan and Japan!

Some of the unique itineraries from Hong Kong include a 5 Night Cruises to Philippines with calls in Coron and Boracay! And also voyages to Ha Long Bay, Nha Trang and Da Nang in Vietnam!

Her extended Hong Kong season will run till 14 Nov 2025! We wish all guests sailing onboard Star Voyager an enjoyable cruise!

Construction update!

Disney Cruise Line continues her construction in Wismar, Germany!

This time we can see the ongoing installation of the World’s Longest Roller Coaster At Sea - the Ironcycle Test Run! Wayfinder Bay which is inspired by the Disney Film Moana is also coming along and making good progress!

Disney Adventure debuts in Singapore in December 2025.

Welcome To Singapore, HMS Prince Of Wales!

Instead of the normal cruise ships, the British Aircraft Carrier HMS Prince Of Wales arrived in Singapore and docked at Marina Bay Cruise Centre as part of an eight month deployment called Operation Highmast that departed from the UK in April, with the ships sailing from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

The HMS Prince of Wales is one of two aircraft carriers currently operated by UK Navy – two of the largest ever built for the service, with a displacement of 65,000 tonnes and measuring 284m in length. It can carry up to 1,600 soldiers and 36 advanced F-35B fighter jets and four Merlin Helicopters.

Singapore & The UK are also celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations, which the visit also commemorates!
