We are a Singapore based production company founded in 2000. Freestate conceptualises and produces audio-visual content for an eclectic mix of clients for broadcast, advertising, museums, art galleries, festivals, events and marketing projects. The company’s focus is in creating original and timeless content both for local as well as international clients. Our clients include a diverse mix, such as Channel NewsAsia, National Gallery Singapore, National Heritage Board, MTV and Marshal Cavendish Education.
Creating original content with strong visuals and merging commercial projects with arts and heritage are our dedications as well as niche. Creative achievements in our documentary projects have attracted worldwide interest and acclaim. Over the years we have produced documentaries that touch tangible and impactful issues and subjects such as dealing with the food scarcity and shortage during WW2 and the value of play and playgrounds and their impact on urban communities for all.
We are also the only company in Singapore that distributes Kodak Super 8mm film. We give various customised workshops and seminars on content development, Super 8mm filmmaking, B&W photography and darkroom printing techniques.
