Last Christmas, J and I set up this Christmas tree together giving thanks that God saved baby Jo from a fatal RSV infection. We were truly at the right time and place for the doctors to respond in time & it’s still lowkey traumatic recalling what could have happened if we were anywhere else.
This Christmas, we hung ornaments with Jo as he sang “amen amen” — the few words he has learned to love speaking & singing with his current limited vocab. Once again this year, God carried us through yet another traumatic family crisis in Oct🫠
Happy to report that while it seems we can sometimes barely catch a break from what life throws at us, God is still GOOD. He is still FAITHFUL and He who is in us is truly GREATER than he who is in the world. Our circumstances don’t have to change for us to access supernatural peace and joy — only because we have Jesus walking with us in the valley😭
Friends, I honestly cannot imagine what life would look like without Jesus😭 What a privilege and joy it is to be His and serve him as a family.
So if you’ve been feeling down and alone this season, know that you are not! There is HOPE, HEALING and REDEMPTION with Christ. He did it for me and my family and He can do it for you too♥️
Drop me a dm if you need a friend or prayer, happy to walk alongside you where I can🙂 You are loved!! Blessed Christmas🎄
