Selamat Hari Raya Haji. عيد الأضحى المبارك. Eid Mubarak. 宰牲节快乐. ஈத் அல்-அதா வாழ்த்துக்கள்

It’s a little late as we decided to spend the holiday in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah and our focus was on the kids and on God. It was the kids first time in Nabawi. We brought them to prayers and let them drink zamzam. They enjoyed spending time in the masjid Alhamdulillah.

The holiday is epicentered around Prophet Abraham, which is an important figure in all the Abrahamic religions. The Hajj itself symbolises the struggles of Prophet Abraham, and the sacrifices he made out of his devotion to Allah. The Arabs treat this holiday with higher veneration. Its week long holiday is holy enough that takbeer is done for days as opposed to the one day in Eid-ul-fitr.

And sacrifice is what we should really contemplate on this holy day. You may be going through a harder time. But Allah never burdens more than one can bear. May you gain stronger grit, willpower and victory on this day. And may all your sins be forgiven.

Recently, a new team has taken over the Football Association of Singapore. My friend Syed Faris, the leader of SingaBrigade, National Captain Hariss Harun, and CEO of Sea, Forrest Li, are the new leaders of Singapore Football.

Lunch with the ex-colleagues from . I make it a point to catch up with them whenever I fly home. It was a difficult decision to leave Lazada when I was headhunted for a role in Saudi Arabia. Visited Tan Sri Haji Abdul Rahman Kasbi , my grand uncle on my mother’s side and his wife Dr Hajjah Hamimah at their home in Pulau Danga Bayu, Johor Bahru. Children thoroughly enjoyed the home’s connection with nature and loved the giant kois in their pool.

The island is extremely exclusive with my grand uncle’s immediate neighbour being the Agong, himself and I’m always awed by its exclusivity. It’s far more exclusive than living on Sentosa Cove.

Alhamdulillah. I performed the Aidilfitri prayers today at the Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar Johor Bahru and was fortunate to be among the first rows. Blessed to also have the chance to make salam with after the khutbah as the vice-regent of Johor graces his presence among the Johor people and her residents.

Industrial Design and Engineering • Enrolled in Product and Process Engineering course offered to only the top 5% of Polytechnic Y1 students • Part of programme is joining an Entrepreneurship contest • Solved user problem on having too many writing utensils in pencil case and lose pens while competitive products do not provide refills • Ideated and sketched a prototype of a stackable pen with multiple inks and refillable pods • My solution was chosen among those submitted by team members • With the help of other team members involved in actual machining, go to market plans and pitching sessions, we won first prize and cash money and graduated with Certificate in Product and Process Engineering I am a proven Product Leader in the intersection of Tech, UX and Business.
