Since 2017, Gilbert Goh, founder of LoveAidSG, has been organising humanitarian aid trips for refugees across the Middle East. When the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out, the Singaporean activist began coordinating relief efforts for Palestinians in Gaza. Today, LoveAidSG spearheads an orphan sponsorship programme, channeling funds to children in need. With support from locals, the organisation has also built a polyclinic that offers medical treatments and mental wellness support to the Palestinian people.

Shalom Lim has muscular dystrophy while Amanda Yip has visual impairment. The couple, who got together in April 2023, very soon realised that they have complementary abilities — Shalom could be the eyes and provide direction while Amanda could be the arms that execute the former's creative vision. Through this, they rekindled their passion for art, which they had long given up on due to the progressive nature of their conditions, and are now working in tandem to start a new art business called Rebirth Ensemble.

Today, he channels his pain into strength, becoming a diversity and disability inclusion advocate who empowers other persons with disabilities.

When the then 10-year-old Winston walked into his classroom wearing his new set of hearing aids, he did not know that life for him would change forever. Subject to unrelenting physical harassment and name calling, he soon became withdrawn. In part one of his documentary, he shares about his traumatic experiences and how he dealt with them as a child.

Smartphones poised in mid-air, their owners craning their necks to capture the dazzling sights and sounds, from the 3D prancing Akita Inu on the façade of a building to vendors preparing their foods. Along one pathway that overlooks the river, street musicians bang on plastic barrels and belt out tunes to a captivated crowd; at another, a rola bola artist struggles to drum up even a scintilla of attention. People staking their earned spots in restaurants' and eateries' delineated queue zones — their companions rejoin them and ply them with freshly made gyozas and viral ten-yen pancakes. Ebullient tour guides at the bow of river boats, microphones in hand, hollering familiar Japanese greetings to hype up both their guests and pedestrians. Young bar promoters vying for the patronage of reluctant passers-by.
